The Incentive, this is used to draw attention to the reader and give a different aspect to the newspaper. The incentive of this front page is a free bet offering £1 shop bet with Ladbrokers. The Masthead is the title of the newspaper, The Daily Mirror, with the red background that appears behind the large lettering is eye catching to readers and draws attention to the paper, it also appears more modern and innovative. Unlike the Daily Mail, which is more traditional with the crest and coat of arms that surrounds the masthead. The Masthead has a small quotes just above staying “Fighting Fir You”, this may have confrontations of left wing politics meaning that they care and stand with the views of the public.

The Headline, reads ‘PM Loses Key Vote Again’ the editor may have used the choice of the word ‘again’ to empathizes her failure because it isn’t the first time he has lost the voting, also the Daily Mirror is a left wing newspaper meaning it is against the conservative party which Teresa May ran, therefore they use negative language to represent her.
