MONARCHY CRISIS:HARRY SPEAKS HIS REGRETS

“It gives me great Sadness it has to come to this but there really was no other choice”-This quotation has been used for The Headline of this article,it gives a personal approach to the readers due to it coming from Harry’s POV. The quotation gives the impression that Harry has an ultimatum, and that The Royal Family have ‘Backed him into a Corner’,perhaps making him feel excluded, leading to his decision to step down from his role in The Royal Family.

The font is SANS , making it easy to read and eye catching to the readers.

The CENTRAL IMAGE, is of both Meghan and Harry. Meghan’s code of facial expression is presented as pleased or charmed by the slight somewhat ‘cheeky’ smile that is on her face(perhaps she’s happy to be leaving her duties in The Royal Family).However, some would say she looks menacing which could be linked to ‘her influencing the idea of leaving to Harry’. Harry’s facial expression is quite dull due to the frown on his face endows the impression he is tired of the paparazzi taking photographs of them as you can see he is making direct contact with the camera. Furthermore, Meghan is stood behind Harry which could mean that Harry is protective of his wife and likes her to not be in the limelight as much as he is/was.However,if this was seen from a right wing reader(who are mostly against Meghan and Harry) they may think that she is stood behind him because she is instigating the whole idea of leaving and she’s putting all the ideas into his head, however that isn’t the case.

QUOTATION:“I want you to hear the truth from me as much as i can, not as a Prince, or a Duke but as Harry….”, The quote suggests a personal stance, meaning he wants the public and the readers to see him as his true self; a normal person.Not as the picture that has been painted of him(the prince/duke).He wants to be rid of the image that has been made for him, he has the impression that he just wants people to still respect him as him and not just a member of The Royal Family. ‘I want you to hear the truth from me as much as i can’ this snip it of the quotation may mean that the royal family are making him hide information that he wishes to tell the public but he can’t due to some reason.

In a small article on the right side of the Newspaper this quote is shown in it. “It comes after a video showing Harry telling the Disney Chief,Bob Iger,” “She’s really interested in work”. This shows how supportive Harry is of Meghan’s career by trying to help her get work, it also endows the thought of them being financially independent, making money of their own.They don’t want to always reply on the money of the Royal Family, they want to make it on their own.
